The Los Angeles Chargers moved on from kicker Younghoe Koo on Thursday, waiving the rookie kicker and signing veteran Nick Novak. "Nick's been a very accurate kicker in this league for a long time," coach Anthony Lynn said Thursday. "He's been here before. We're familiar with him, and he has experience in big games. As you know, every game we've played has been a close game, and every point matters." The Chargers have started the season 0-4, losing three of those games by three points or less. Koo had a potential game-tying kick blocked in the final second of a 24-21 Week 1 loss to the Denver Broncos and then missed what would have been a game-winner in the final seconds of the Chargers' 19-17 Week 2 loss the Miami Dolphins.
