Ian Rapoport reports that the Chargers are signing WR Dontrelle Inman to a contract on Tuesday.

Rapoport adds that Chargers’ veteran QB Philip Rivers “played a big part” in Inman’s decision to sign with Los Angeles.

Inman, 30, originally signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia back in 2011. Jacksonville decided to waive him shortly afterward and he remained unsigned before joining the Chargers in 2014.
