Four days before being eligible to come off the disabled list for a concussion, Paul Konerko received an encouraging checkup at Rush University Medical Center on Monday, White Sox manager Robin Ventura said. ''He was checked out, and everything is looking good,'' Ventura said. ''Tomorrow he'll probably start riding the [stationary] bike and doing physical stuff. I don't know if he will do a whole lot of baseball stuff, but he will start getting some activity in to see how that goes. But things are progressing.''
