Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has agreed to terms with forward Tuukka Tieksola on a three-year, entry-level contract. At the NHL level, the deal will pay Tieksola $750,000 in the first two seasons of the contract and $775,000 in the third season. He will earn $70,000 at the AHL level for all three seasons, and he will receive $195,000 in signing bonuses.
