An exasperated Carlo Ancelotti refused to discuss the recent report that long-time Real Madrid target Kylian Mbappe's contract actually expires in 2024, not 2025.

Real believed they had agreed a deal to sign Mbappe on a free transfer this summer, only for the Frenchman to surprisingly agree to a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain which was advertised as a three-year deal until 2025.

However, L'Equipe have now claimed that Mbappe's contract is only for a guaranteed two years, with the 2024/25 season actually an option which can be triggered by the player himself and not by the Ligue 1 side.
