There is finally some light at the end of the long tunnel for Jacoby Ellsbury and Carl Crawford. The outfielders played for Double-A Portland last night as part of rehab assignments that should have them back with the Red Sox in the near future. Ellsbury has been out since dislocating his right shoulder in the seventh game of the season, while Crawford has been sidelined all season by left wrist and elbow injuries. "We're just itching to get back," Ellsbury said. "We've worked so hard just to get to this point, and I think once we step on the field it's going to show all that hard work that we put in."
