Apparently Larry Fitzgerald makes a better wide receiver than a team trainer. During the Arizona Cardinals' locker room cleanout on Monday morning, quarterback Drew Stanton refuted Fitzgerald's claim from Sunday night that he had been playing with a torn ACL by responding to a question about a potential ACL injury with an emphatic "no." "No surgery," Stanton said. "I'm ready to go." Stanton didn't have an answer when asked why Fitzgerald tweeted about his ACL. "Ask Larry," Stanton said. But Fitzgerald wasn't available during the open locker room session. Stanton said he had a bone bruise, which he sustained Week 10 against the Seattle Seahawks and caused him to miss the next five games.
