Kyler Murray has officially been drafted by the Arizona Cardinals with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. He has been expected to be the selection throughout the majority of the draft process, but now that it is official, he was asked about teaming up with his new head coach, Kliff Kingsbury.

In a quote shared by Jake Trotter of ESPN, Murray stated that he feels the duo can be “really dangerous.”

Arizona will now look to trade last years first round pick, Josh Rosen. He has been rumored to be on the trade block for weeks and there are a few teams that have come forward with interest.

Murray, on the other hand, has been a player that Kingsbury has wanted for a long time. Awhile back, Kingsbury made the comment that he would draft Murray with the No. 1 overall pick if he had the chance. Well, that time has come and he followed through with his word.
