Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that the Cardinals front office is preparing in case HC Bruce Arians decides to retire from the NFL after the 2017 season. As of now, Arians has not informed the team that he is going to retire, but there was talk last year that health concerns could lead to him walking away. According to La Canfora, Arizona has discussed some contingency head-coaching options in the event they find themselves in need of a new head coach. La Canfora says many close to Arians do not believe he will be back on the sidelines for 2018 and he is “coveted” by several media entities.
