Cardinals coach Bruce Arians gave his players two days off after their victory last Sunday over the Giants, and they apparently had a merry time. “I think everybody enjoyed Christmas a little too much,” Arians said. “It was a slow start to practice, which is usual for that time of year and having a couple of days off. But it was a good start for the week. We know how big the week is for us to get to 8-8, and that’s the only thing we’re focused on.” Seahawks coach Pete Carroll also wasn’t interested in looking beyond Sunday’s game against the Cardinals at CenturyLink Field. The Seahawks (9-6) need a victory over the Cardinals and the Panthers to beat the Falcons to make the playoffs. “It’s a championship game for us," Carroll said in a conference call with Arizona reporters. 2018 opponents The Cardinals' opponents for the 2018 season are set. The Cardinals will play home games against the Bears, Lions, Broncos, Raiders and the third-place team in the NFC East. That will be the Redskins, even if they end up tied with the Cowboys for third.
