Current Capitals coach and former Devils assistant Adam Oates has a track record of being outspoken in 2013 -- during last season's playoffs he told a D.C. radio show he could beat up then-Rangers coach John Tortorella. On Thursday he was critical about Tomas Hertl and the incredible between-the-legs goal that got the attention of hockey fans and players around the continent (which you can watch around the 2:29 mark of the video above). According to The Washington Post's Katie Carrera Oates said "I'm upset. I was just talking to George [McPhee] and he said all the kids do that nowadays which I understand. But would he have done it on his first goal? He hasn't scored yet tonight and he gets a breakaway is he going to do that on his breakaway? We'll see."
