Carolina Hurricanes general manager Jim Rutherford said Friday that Swedish forward Elias Lindholm suffered a minor shoulder injury Thursday night during a development camp drill. “He’ll be OK. It’s not serious,” Rutherford said. “We will hold him off (ice) the rest of the week, but he should be able to return to his normal workouts in a week to 10 days. We’re being cautious with it.” Lindholm, the Canes’ first-round draft pick this year and the fifth overall selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, was knocked into the boards at PNC Arena and immediately left the ice for treatment. He later was taken to a doctor for further evaluation. Lindholm will be at the team’s Summerfest fan activities at PNC Arena on Saturday, which include a players autograph session. He will not play in the scrimmage at noon.
