The Giants and Dodgers came into Friday separated by 1.5 games in the NL West, and this weekend they will play three pretty important games in San Francisco. The Dodgers jumped all over Tim Lincecum and won Friday's series opener (Recap). The Dodgers scored five runs in the fifth inning thanks to three triples. They have five triples in the game overall -- they're the first team to do that since the White Sox in August 2011 -- including three by Yasiel Puig. He's the first player with three triples in one game since Denard Span in June 2010 and the first Dodger with three triples in a game since 1901.
