An MRI of New York Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira's strained left calf revealed he irritated the injury attempting to beat out a double-play ball in Saturday night's loss to the Baltimore Orioles and will be out of action another 10-14 days. Teixeira originally suffered the injury August 28 in a game against the Toronto Blue Jays and missed 10 games before returning to the lineup Saturday night. On his final at-bat of the game, with runners on first and third, one out and the Yankees trailing by a run, Teixeira grounded to second and dived head-first to try to avoid a game-ending double play.
