After drafting swingman Tony Snell with the 20th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, the Bulls again looked to upgrade their outside shooting, choosing Florida power forward Erik Murphy with their second-round pick, the 49th selection Thursday evening. Murphy was a first-team all-SEC performer as a senior and led the conference in three-point shooting at 45.3 percent, in addition to averaging 12.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. The Massachusetts native and son of former NBA player Jay Murphy projects as a stretch power forward on the next level, using his shooting range to spread opposing defenses.
