The Chicago Bulls are currently sitting on top of the Eastern Conference with a 25-10 record. DeMar DeRozan looks like an MVP candidate, while Zach LaVine isn’t far behind. Nikola Vucevic is coming around after a sluggish start to the season. Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso are All-Defensive Team candidates.
The Bulls have an excellent core in place, but they could still use an upgrade before the Feb. 10 trade deadline in order to strengthen the roster to help try to win the title. As good as Chicago looks right now, teams like the Milwaukee Bucks, Brooklyn Nets and Miami Heat will be mighty formidable in the playoffs, and that’s before even getting to the powerhouses in the Western Conference.
Most people didn’t expect the Bulls to be in this position this season, so now the question is if this front office should look to make another big all-in move and totally go for it.
