England youngster and Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has officially broken his silence after receiving horrific racial abuse following England’s Euro 2020 defeat to Italy at Wembley on Sunday.
Saka, along with Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho, was the victim of far too much hate because he missed the Three Lions’ final spot-kick in the final.
Bukayo Saka noted that he always planned to take a few days off social media after the final, especially considering how everything turned out. The Gunners standout also discussed how blessed he was to be a part of such a tight-knit England squad who are truly like a family. The 19-year old even called out social media for not doing more to prevent the racial abuse that people of color receive on these platforms.
