The Milwaukee Bucks made a move ahead of the trade deadline in acquiring hard-nosed defender P.J. Tucker from the Houston Rockets. Tucker was part of a deal that sends him and Rodions Kurucks to Milwaukee in exchange for D.J. Augustin and D.J. Wilson. The teams also exchanged picks with the Bucks receiving a 2023 unprotected first-round pick and the Rockets getting the rights to swap its upcoming second-round pick for Milwaukee’s.
Tucker provides the Bucks with defensive depth and 3-point shooting as they prepare for the playoffs. Tucker and Giannis Antetokounmpo have had to guard each other in the past leading to some intense and epic battles.
That’s why the first time they met as teammates, led to this candid remark.
Tucker will most likely come off the bench for the Bucks, providing depth to a team with finals aspirations. Tucker will likely come in for Antetokounmpo, to give him a rest.
