The numbers are undeniably ugly, by anyone's major league standards. For Marlins ace Josh Johnson to be 0-3 with a 6.61 ERA after six starts is almost incomprehensible. The earned-run average is more than double his career mark of 3.13. Johnson, who will face the Astros on Wednesday in the finale of a nine-game trip, has gone more than a year without a victory, the last coming 12 starts ago. Pile on the double-digit hits allowed in three starts, the .359 batting average-against and two early exits, and it is easy to sound the alarm.
