Marcus Rashford has been ‘amazing’ for Manchester United since the restart and ‘deserves’ more goals, Bruno Fernandes believes.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have been in imperious form since the restart, winning five out of their six matches and their attack is clicking into gear, with Fernandes and Mason Greenwood scoring five and four goals respectively.

Rashford, however, is the player from the Red Devils’ attack who has struggled to get as many goals and assists, having found the net just once since the Premier League season resumed last month.

But Fernandes, who has galvanised the club to a 17-match unbeaten run since joining from Sporting Lisbon in January, believes the England ace deserves more credit.

“Like you saw on Thursday night [in the 3-0 victory over Aston Villa], Mason [Greenwood] scored a beautiful goal again and Anthony [Martial] and Marcus did very well,” Fernandes told MUTV.

“I think everyone is talking about Marcus not scoring a lot of goals but he is doing an amazing job.

“The game he is playing now, maybe he is not achieving his goals and everything but, with everything we are doing now, he will achieve more goals and more assists.
