There were some anxious moments for the Boston Bruins on Thursday in an intrasquad scrimmage when star Brad Marchand appeared to hurt his hand.
After Marchand bumped into teammate Connor Clifton, he was seen flexing his left hand on the bench. But he returned without missing a shift, much to the relief of the Bruins and head coach Bruce Cassidy.
"(Marchand) jammed his ... I don't know what he jammed," Cassidy said afterward (via ESPN). "He kept playing … No issue."
Marchand, who finished fifth in the NHL with 100 points in the regular season, has 18 points in the postseason, behind only San Jose's Logan Couture's 20.
