The Cleveland Browns already own 12 draft picks this year. They won't be adding to that total via compensatory picks. The NFL announced 32 compensatory picks handed out to 15 teams on Friday. A team who loses more or better free agents than it acquires in the previous year is eligible to receive compensatory selections. According to the league's release, compensatory free agents are determined by a formula based on salary, playing time and postseason honors. The formula was developed by the NFL Management Council.
