Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports that Browns head coach Hue Jackson will hire an offensive coordinator after the season. A few weeks ago, Jackson told reporters that he didn’t want to hire an offensive coordinator with a base offense and end up making him the fall guy. However, he admitted that it’s possible they could bring someone in to aid their offense, so this doesn’t come as a big surprise. The question for Jackson is whether he’ll actually be back as the team’s head coach in 2018. Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported last night that there’s concern that Jackson may have lost the team (NFLTR). Jackson’s future in Cleveland has been in question after GM John Dorsey initially would commit to him returning for the 2018 season.
