The Broncos are hiring former Giants backup quarterback Davis Webb as their quarterbacks coach, according to a source with knowledge of the hire. Here’s what you need to know:

Webb, 28, was a third-round pick by the Giants in 2017.

He made his first NFL start and second career appearance this past season in a 22-16 Week 18 loss to the Eagles.

Webb was considered to be a candidate for the Bills’ QB coaching position ahead of last season, although the job was never formally offered.

The Bills broached the idea of having Webb retire and join their staff in 2022 but, the former Texas Tech and Cal standout opted to return for another NFL season where he made his first career start.
