With injuries piling up, the Denver Broncos are starting to look outside the organization to fill the holes in the roster. They lost Jurrell Casey for the year to a torn bicep, so when the Jacksonville Jaguars released defensive lineman Timmy Jernigan this week they pounced.

Jernigan is a former second-round pick from the 2014 NFL Draft who signed with the Jaguars this year. Early in his career, he was a productive pass rusher totaling 13 sacks in his firs three seasons.
