The Miami Marlins are on the road against the Atlanta Braves this weekend while their city is threatened by the impending Hurricane Irma that is projected to make landfall over the weekend. On Thursday night, in the series opener between the two clubs, the Braves made the mistake of playing “Rock You Like a Hurricane” by Scorpions in between innings. Social media was immediately set ablaze with criticism of the team, which failed to remove the song from its in-house music playlist in wake of the events that are set to unfold in the state of Florida in the coming days. The Marlins announced on Thursday that they would be keeping their roof partially open during the storm, in an attempt to alleviate pressure during the hurricane.
