Back on Monday Aug. 12 Braves fan Ronald Homer died from blunt force trauma after falling 85 feet from Atlanta's Turner Field and landing in a parking lot. The death was initially ruled an accident by authorities possibly due in part to an extended rain delay preceding the fall and subsequent death. Though there was no surveillance footage available of the fall police have now reported that the death has been ruled a suicide. Details from the Associated Press: Authorities in Atlanta say the death of a man who fell over a railing at Turner Field has been ruled a suicide. Investigators with the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office said Thursday that they discussed the death of 30-year-old Ronald Lee Homer Jr. with his family last week before releasing their findings to the media. The investigators would not release further information on the matter. Homer was 30 years old. He had a phone conversation with his mother prior to his death where he told her he loved her.
