Atlanta Braves manager Brian Snitker admitted he misspoke with regard to the status of injured right-hander Mike Soroka.

During an appearance on MLB Network's "High Heat" earlier Friday, Snitker announced that Soroka, who is rehabbing from a torn Achilles tendon, would miss the rest of this season. Hours later, he walked those words back, saying that there's a chance the All-Star righty will return in 2021.

Snitker said he saw Soroka moving around on a motorized scooter and assumed the worst for his ace.
