Braves officials have been buzzing since they pounced on the opportunity to select Kyle Wright fifth overall in this week's MLB Draft. Now, they are looking forward to the opportunity to officially announce him as a part of their organization. According to a Major League source, the Braves have reached an agreement with Wright on an over-slot bonus that is expected to be slightly greater than $7 million. An official announcement will likely be made Friday, once the medical evaluations are completed. Wright was considered by many to be the best available player this year, and there was some early speculation he would be the top overall selection. But he fell to the Braves, who did not blink when given the chance to take the Vanderbilt University pitcher with the fifth pick in the Draft.
