With the Indianapolis Colts holding their first OTA today, they have also announced a minor roster move, waiving wide receiver Josh Lenz. No corresponding move has been announced yet, leaving a spot open on their 90-man offseason roster. Lenz spent most of the past two seasons on the Colts' practice squad after being signed by the team midway through the 2013 season after spending time with both the Chicago Bears (in training camp) and Seattle Seahawks (on their practice squad to start the 2013 season). Lenz was promoted to the active roster for the team's divisional round game in the 2013 season against the Patriots, but he didn't play. In preseason with the Colts in 2014, Lenz caught four passes for 43 yards and a touchdown, averaging 10.8 yards per catch. He signed a reserve/futures contract with the Colts earlier this year and has so far been going through the offseason workouts with the team, but today they waived him.
