Borussia Dortmund are working on a move to re-sign Shinji Kagawa from Manchester United after making him their top January target. Kagawa only left Dortmund to join United last year after helping the German side to back-to-back Bundesliga titles. But despite a promising start to his Old Trafford career the Japanese winger has found himself out-of-favour under David Moyes and is now considering his options. Kagawa told reporters this week he was ‘fighting for life’ at United and it’s thought that if he has not become a regular by December he will push for a transfer away. Former club Dortmund are leading the chase to re-sign him with Jurgen Klopp already making the 24-year-old his top January transfer target. Dortmund fans have launched a ‘bring back Kagawa’ campaign to persuade the player and Klopp has been promised funds to make the deal happen.
