The Charlotte Bobcats will work out Ike Diogu, Mickell Gladness and Denzel Bowles on Thursday afternoon for a potential 10-day contract, league sources told RealGM. Diogu and Gladness fit in the mold of frontcourt players with previous NBA experience, able to provide Charlotte with a veteran presence heading into a most likely postseason berth. Even so, the Bobcats view Bowles – a 6-foot-10 center who averaged 26 points and nine rebounds in the Chinese Basketball Association this season – as a talented project. Bowles also has received interest from the Miami Heat, a league source told RealGM. The first 10-day contract of Justin Hamilton will expire on Thursday, but he remains intriguing to the Bobcats, who have been without Brendan Haywood all season due to stress fracture in his left foot.
