Al Jefferson apparently felt a rip in his foot early in the Game 1 loss to the Miami Heat and left the game. At the time, it was talked about as a strain in his left plantar fascia. The Charlotte Bobcats' big man came back into the game, but his effectiveness was much lower than when he started the game 4-of-4 from the field. He played through the pain in Game 2 in the Bobcats' loss but struggled to score efficiently and hobbled all over the floor. This painful injury won't keep him from playing Game 3 in Charlotte though. Jefferson said he feels the same now as he did before he played in Game 2 and there are no questions he'll play Saturday night against the Heat.
