Veteran right-hander Edwin Jackson has struggled mightily since signing with the Toronto Blue Jays, and he's well aware of that fact after his latest outing Monday night.
The 35-year-old allowed seven earned runs on six hits, three home runs, and two walks in two-thirds of an inning. Jackson is 1-5 with a 12.43 ERA over 25 1/3 innings with Toronto. He's allowed 12 home runs (4.26 HR/9) in that span.
"I think my pitching has just been horseshit, to be honest, since I've been here," he said, according to Gregor Chisholm of The Toronto Star. "That's point blank. The execution has been terrible. I know I'm better than that. That's not who I am."
