The Toronto Blue Jays avoided arbitration with catcher Danny Jansen, left-handed reliever Tim Mayza and right-handed reliever Trevor Richards on Friday, Sportsnet's Ben Nicholson-Smith reports.
All three are one-year deals — Jansen at $3.5 million, Mayza at $2.1 million and Richards at $1.5 million.
Jansen, 27, had his best year in the majors in 2022, slashing .260/.339/.516 with 15 homers and 44 RBI in 72 games.
The native of Elmhurst, Ill. had two stints on the injured list with an oblique injury and a broken finger.
