Blue Jackets center Brandon Dubinsky was placed on injured reserve and will be out six to eight weeks with a fractured orbital bone, the team announced Wednesday. Dubinsky suffered the injury in the third period of the Blue Jackets' 7-2 loss to the Oilers on Tuesday when he got into a fight with Edmonton winger Zack Kassian. The injury came right after a face off when Dubinsky locked up with Kassian and the Oiler caught the Blue Jacket with a hard left to the eye. The shot drew blood and required multiple stiches.
