It appeared this game would be a blowout being that the Portland Trail Blazers started off steamrolling the Los Angeles Lakers by going up 19-2 in the game’s first six minutes. The Lakers (9-9) fought back to make it interesting but the Trail Blazers (14-3) continued its winning was on their way to a 114-108 victory over the Lakers at Staples Center Sunday night. The Lakers missed their first eight shots and found themselves down 19-2 with 5:54 left in the first quarter. It didn’t start off too well for them. LaMarcus Aldridge supplied 27 points and nine rebounds in a very efficient outing. Damian Lillard ended the game with 26 points and nine assists. Robin Lopez picked up his sixth double-double of the season with 12 points and 12 rebounds in 28 minutes of play.
