Blaine Gabbert will start for the Arizona Cardinals at quarterback on Sunday in Houston, coach Bruce Arians announced Friday. Drew Stanton will be the backup quarterback, if he is physically able to play, Arians said. If Stanton can't go, Matt Barkley will serve as Gabbert's backup. Starting quarterback Carson Palmer is one of six starters on injured reserve, and Stanton has a sprained knee. The team signed Barkley on Monday. Stanton suffered the injury late in the first quarter against the Seahawks but stayed in the game.
