During training camp the 49ers took a look at a lot of different quarterbacks but they wound up keeping a guy who they took in the seventh round of April’s draft over veterans Seneca Wallace and Scott Tolzien. B.J. Daniels made the 53-man roster that the 49ers will take into the rest of Labor Day weekend joining Colt McCoy on the depth chart behind Colin Kaepernick. He’s joined on the 53-man roster by Jon Baldwin the wide receiver who disappointed in Kansas City after being a first-round pick in 2011 and who the 49ers acquired in a trade for their own disappointing 2012 first-round pick A.J. Jenkins.
