The NFL’s legal tampering window doesn’t start until March 14, but that doesn’t mean that individual players can’t make their pitches to free agents.
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs made his pitch at the NFL Pro Bowl and now quarterback Josh Allen may be doing the same.
Some Bills fans noticed that Allen is currently on a group vacation that includes Kyle Allen and wide receiver Christian Kirk and their significant others. Below is just one screenshot shared on Twitter via an Instagram story shared by Allen’s girlfriend, Brittany Williams.
Kirk was college teammates with Kyle Allen at Texas A&M in 2015 so it’s possible that the vacation is much ado about nothing, but vacations are also an opportunity for groundwork to be laid.
Although it’s not the same circumstance, look no further than last year when Rams head coach Sean McVay and then-Detroit Lions QB Matt Stafford happened to be vacationing in Cabo San Lucas at the same time. Offensive lineman Andrew Whitworth put together a casual get-together between the two and shortly thereafter a trade was completed between the Rams and Lions.
