Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy became the 30th player in NFL history to eclipse the 10,000-yard rushing mark with a 14-yard run on the second quarter against Miami on Sunday. McCoy, 29, is third among active players behind Frank Gore and Adrian Peterson. McCoy is third among players that have put on a Buffalo Bills uniform, behind Thurman Thomas (12,074) and O.J. Simpson (11,236). Thomas is 16th on the all-time list and Simpson is 21st. In nearly three full seasons with the Bills, McCoy has run for an NFL-best 3,169 yards and averaged 4.7 yards per carry coming into Sunday’s game with the Dolphins. He has more than 1,000 rushing yards this season.
