Contract extension talks between the Buffalo Bills and their star quarterback Josh Allen have hit a stand-still. According to Kim Jones from the NFL Network, there is “no current momentum toward a deal.”

While many other players such as Fred Warner, Braden Smith and Jonathan Allen are getting extensions during the 2021 offseason, Allen’s extension seems to not be a priority to both parties. They are more focused on getting to the playoffs once again.

The Bills have been back and forth with their QB’s agent on how big and long the extension would be. With players like Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes getting one of the largest contracts in NFL history and Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott getting one of the largest guaranteed contracts, it will be difficult to assign how much money Allen is worth.
