Nicklas Bendtner has claimed he could leave Arsenal to join Real Madrid or Barcelona in January. The 25-year-old’s future has been a source of speculation in recent days after the Denmark international stated his desire to leave Emirates Stadium in search of regular first-team football. Bendtner has started just two games for Arsenal so far this season and has made five substitute appearances for Arsène Wenger’s men. And the forward has now underlined his desire to quit the north London club, but insists that money will not be a decisive factor in determining his destination, before bizarrely suggesting a move to Real Madrid or Barcelona could be on the cards.
