Ben Gordon had done this before, in more than his share of visiting arenas. Hitting a back-breaking 3-pointer, followed by a mass exodus of disgruntled and disappointed fans headed for the exits. Gordon hadn't done it much since arriving in Detroit, but perhaps it's something about Boston that gets him going, as his 12 fourth-quarter points propelled the Pistons to arguably their most impressive victory this season, 98-88 over the struggling Celtics at TD Garden. Gordon's 3-pointer with one minute remaining quelled a late Celtics charge and completed his 22-point performance, reminiscent of his days with the Bulls in the 2009 playoffs.
