Manager Ron Washington acknowledged Friday that 3B Adrian Beltre, who is out of the lineup for the third consecutive game Friday, underwent an MRI exam on his hamstring while the Rangers were in Toronto. It was the second MRI for Beltre in the last two weeks. Washington said the MRI showed the hamstring to be exactly the same as it was after the first incident Beltre had with leg pain and that there is no concern of damage to the hamstring. Beltre said he is dealing with a "little minor stuff" in his legs, but declined to elaborate on his injury, He did say he does not expect to end up on the disabled list. "It feels a little bit better," Beltre said. "It's not good enough to play today, but it's not bad enough to go to the DL. We will just go day-by-day."
