After walking in the the fourth, trainers and manager Ron Washington had a lengthy discussion at first base with Beltre, but ultimately left him in to run. When the Rangers took the field in the fifth, rookie Mike Olt took over at third baseman. Olt was then injured in the seventh. Josh Hamilton also didn't return for eighth due to soreness in his left knee. Beltre will have an MRI. Results aren't likely to be known tonight according to a team spokesman. In the seventh, Olt was running on an infield hit after a diving stop by Cleveland second baseman Jason Kipnis and started limping almost immediately after he got out of the batters box. The team said he had plantar fasciitis in his right foot.
