Bruno Fernando may have only been in the United States for a little under a year, but he has made a serious impact since arriving from Angola. Playing at Montverde Academy in Florida, he has become an important piece for the Eagles this season, and proven to be one of the top available seniors along the way. In a class where the pool of available talent is shrinking quickly (just 15 of the Top 150 players remain uncommitted), Fernando is hitting his stride at the right time. The 6-foot-10 senior is a talented two-way player who can score on the block as well as he can block shots. Throw in decent speed and footwork for a big man, and it's easy to see why some of the top programs have begun to show significant interest in Fernando. UCF, Alabama, and LSU are the three programs who threw out early offers; but now, Duke is lurking.
