You would be forgiven for thinking that a Borussia Dortmund supporter had advised Mario Gotze on his attire for his introductory press conference with Bundesliga and European champions Bayern Munich. The Germany international committed a major faux pas as he wore a Nike T-shirt for his unveiling, despite Bayern being sponsored by Adidas, who also have a 9.1 percent stake in the club. Gotze angered Dortmund supporters when his £32 million move to Bayern was revealed in the wake of the defeat of Malaga in the Champions League quarterfinals, which sent Jurgen Klopp's team into the last four. The 21-year-old helped Dortmund into the final at the expense of Real Madrid and Jose Mourinho, but he missed the Wembley final through injury. But as he was unveiled to the German media on Tuesday, Gotze clearly hadn't researched his new employers too much and wore a Nike top.
