Bayern Munich have confirmed that Antonio Conte asked about midfielder Renato Sanches in Singapore this week. Standard Sport reported on Friday that Conte spoke to Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti during Chelsea's 3-2 friendly loss on Tuesday about Sanches, who put in a superb performance for the German side in Singapore. The 19-year-old only moved to Bayern last summer in a deal worth an initial £31.3million but failed to break into the first-team - making just 17 Bundesliga appearances last season. Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed that while the club do not want to sell the Portugal international, they would be willing to send him on a season-long loan - and revealed one of the clubs who are interested in taking Sanches is Chelsea.
