Bayern Munich boss Jupp Heynckes has fundamentally ruled out any chances of midfielder Arturo Vidal leaving the club to join Chelsea this January. The Premier League champions had been reportedly lining up a £33million move for the Chilean in the winter window as Antonio Conte looks to bolster his squad. Conte signed Vidal for Juventus and worked with him for three years between 2011 and 2014, winning three successive Serie A titles together in that period. He said: 'Arturo is a fantastic player, I have a great respect for Arturo, and we spent many years in Juventus together. 'If we go to war, I'd always want him with me.' However, Bayern boss Heynckes has insisted Vidal, who has featured 26 times this season, will not be heading to Stamford Bridge in the January window.
